cooking with chris

Ingredients: 

1. marinate pork chop with sazon, black pepper, and salt. allow pork chop to bake for 25 minutes.

2. prep and cut red potatoes, brussel spouts, onions, scallions and cashews

3. caramelize onion and scallions

4. cook red potatoes in a skillet with oil and a pitch of salt for 5 minutes, then add brussel spouts

5. best to have chestnuts without the shell, to avoid pulling. roast chestnuts for 10 minutes, can add salt. add to medley.

6. for butter sauce, marinate sauce pan with lemon juice. add the tablespoons of butter and cook on a meduim heat. stir until its at a good consistency. can add to medley for great taste.

7. once done.... bon appetite !

Shrimp and grits

1. make sure you wash and clean all vegetables and shrimp 

2. cut vegetables 

3. Butter sauce - 1 stick of unsalted pure butter until it melts. add parsley flakes, paprika and red crushed peppers after its completely melted...then stir

4. Add 1 Cup of Grits to boiling water. Leave to boil until it is in perfect form (5 to 8 minutes)

5. add vegatables to skillet (garlic, Red and green peppers, mushrooms and tomato) in 2 minutes add seasoned shrimp

6. while that simmers, add and stir cheese into the grits. 

7.once shrimp is cooked, add butter sauce to the skillet pan with all the ingredients

8. now plate .
